I got a donation this evening from my old boss at House of Blues, JIM CANNELLA! I had several different jobs at House of Blues, and the last one was working in the National Sponsorship Fulfillment for Jim. Even though I was only in that position for less than a year (thank you, Live Nation,) I learned a whole lot doing the job and I learned a lot from Jim. I feel lucky to have worked with such great people for 3 years there and to have retained so many wonderful friendships. Jim was not only my boss, but is someone I count as a friend. Thanks a million, Jim!
And in exciting fundraising news, I've UPPED MY GOAL AGAIN! That's right, folks, my new goal is $5,000! I think it is definitely doable- I'm currently at $4,035 when you factor in offline donations that have not hit the system yet. So keep spreading the word- I want to raise as much money as possible for this great cause!
